Power BI Pro vs. Power BI Premium

Power BI offers two main subscription models: Power BI Pro and Power BI Premium.

1. Power BI Pro

   • Power BI Pro is a user-based subscription that offers access to features such as sharing reports, creating content, and collaborating in workspaces.
   • It’s typically suited for individuals or small teams who need to publish and share reports across an organization.

2. Power BI Premium

   • Power BI Premium provides enhanced features, including larger data models, dedicated cloud resources, and advanced data refresh capabilities.
   • Premium also offers better performance, higher data storage limits, and the ability to share reports with users who don’t have a Pro license.

3. Power BI Embedded

   • Power BI Embedded allows organizations to embed Power BI reports and dashboards into custom applications. This is ideal for independent software vendors (ISVs) who want to provide BI capabilities to their customers without requiring them to have a Power BI license.

Power BI Mobile App

The Power BI Mobile App enables users to access and interact with reports and dashboards on smartphones and tablets. The mobile version provides:

• Push Notifications: Get alerts for changes in data.
• Data Interactivity: Interact with reports, drill through data, and filter information on the go.
• Offline Mode: Access reports even when an internet connection is unavailable.
